About

Thanks for visiting my corner of the internet! I’m Talia Follador, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a passion for holistic health and intuitive eating. I struggled with poor body image and disordered eating throughout my teenage and college years. I felt empowered by the scientific nutrition knowledge I gained throughout my undergraduate education and dietetic internship, which helped me break free from dieting and improve my body image. During my journey of healing my relationship with food and my body, I also learned the value of therapy, meditation, spirituality, rest, and social connection.

Throughout my variety of internship, volunteer, and professional experiences, I have worked in food service, clinical, and community nutrition settings. These experiences have taught me that nutrition changes involve so much more than just knowing what to eat. They also involve socioeconomic status, lifestyle, cooking ability, food preferences, culture, medical diagnoses, psychology, and more.

Additionally, I’ve struggled with confidence in my abilities and clarity about my career path. I love connecting with other dietitians to chat about their careers and learn confidence tips.

My mission is to use science-based nutrition information to help people make nutrition changes that align with their mind, body, soul, and lifestyle and support their health journey. I also aim to encourage other dietitians to build confidence and explore what career path in dietetics is best for them.

Along with nutrition and cooking, I love psychology, baseball, coffee, beer, sketching, baking, tap dancing, playing the piano, and eating pancakes.

In addition to my day job, I offer freelance writing services to health, wellness, and nutrition companies and professionals. Click here to learn more!
